Philips: Two new high-end gaming

Philips Momentum: World’s First Monitor Designed for Xbox | 279M1RV & 329M1RV with HDMI 2.1 A good monitor can provide more magnificent colors or even in dark dungeons for better contrasts, as well as movies on a good monitor are often a better enjoyment than a cheap model. For gamers, in addition to high resolutions, high refresh rates are also important - some tips for sale and a market overview as of February 2022 can be found in our last monitor special. Phillips, as we learned about Kitguru, has now introduced two new monitors to address more demanding gamers. One model is the Philips27M1F5800, a 4K 27-inch monitor (3840 times 2160 pixels) and a refresh rate of 144 Hertz.

The IPS panel has a reaction time of a millisecond and also offers Adaptive Sync to adapt the refresh rate to the current FPS values of the graphics species. This prevents the unsightly tearing effect that acts like a horizontally torn image as a horizontally torn. In addition, Philips promises a low input layer. So a small delay between receiving the image from the graphics card and the display of the image on the display. HDR600 is also offered. As connections, there are twice HDMI 2.1 and Displayport 1.4, in height, the monitor can be adjusted by 13 centimeters.

The second new model is the Philips 27m1f5500p \ - he has only WQHD as a resolution (2560 times 1440 pixels), but a refresh rate of 240 Hertz. Otherwise, the technical data is very similar to the 4K siblings: HDR600, IPS panel, 27 inch, height adjustability, adaptive sync, and twice HDMI and DisplayPort, where HDMI is only available here with standard 2.0. However, this is not a leg break, since HDMI 2.1 is only necessary for high refresh rates of 4k. As you see to our links to the two monitors, they are already listed on the German website - but we have not discovered them yet, as well as the prices are still unknown.
