This week we watched Button City, a narrative adventure game around a local arcade room of the same name. You play a shy fox named Fennel, which has just moved to town and is launched in a campaign to prevent Button City from being resumed and closed.
In our gameplay video, we explore Button City and meet other arcade lovers, both friendly and less friendly. Fennel meets sorrel, lavender and chive; The Fluff Squad, and after being initiated, ends up becoming their fourth member. Among the other animated characters, let's quote licorice, coriander and the owner, Mr. Button.
Together, Fluff Squad faces another group in a game of gobabots, one of the different types of arcade games available in Button City. Gobabots is a multiplayer asset capture game with TwinTick shooting elements. Button City also offers games such as arcade revolution and rhythm game prisma beats.
Like any large arcade room, there are prizes to win. FENNEL receives a Point Point Card to collect Pal Points, which are earned after each part earned in the arcade. Mr. Button says that long-standing friendships are tied to Button City and this introduction seems that this will surely happen with Fluff Squad.
Button City will be launched next week on August 10 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch.

His solution to this dilemma? "I will become a gentleman and have many wives!" Thus, a young man embarks on an adventure! I like that Nidhogg focuses on both movement and fighting. The way you win this fighting game is by killing your opponent and then running away in a sudden turn. There are multiple screens in each stage of Nidhogg, each with their own obstacles that opponents can run through and kill themselves. The goal is to get to the end screen on your side of the map. The last person to draw blood is the one who controls the scrolling screen. This means that you will constantly kill your opponent and try to avoid it. Rolls, jumps, and other forms of dodging are very important here. However, if you get killed, you'll be forced to take a stand, and very few fighting games dare to explore that. You will have to chase away your opponent. This dynamic tracking and running on a large map is unique to Nidhogg and works flawlessly.
