Portable minors are an extremely useful game start element in _Satisfactory. They will exploit the resources for you, and you will not have to wait for ore for five minutes to get the resources you need.
There will be a number of steps you will need to follow to make a portable miner.
You need to upgrade the hub to access the portable minor equipment workshop and plans, and you can only create the portable minor in the equipment workshop, so you must follow the two steps to continue. If you need help, simply click on the links above to get useful guides.
When your equipment workshop is built, go ahead and interact with the bench inside, you will see a list of objects that you can build, although it is short enough at this stage of the game.
Choose the portable minor, you will need three iron leaves and three iron rods to make the minor. Manufacture it as you would for any other object of the game, and it will be automatically put in your inventory.
Now use the scanner to locate the resource you want by keeping V and selecting it in the wheel. Find the nearest resource node and place the portable minor in the Hands box of your inventory. Click the left mouse button to place it and start automatically extracting the resource.
To collect the resource, interact with the portable minor and drag and drop the resources extracted in your inventory. The Miner laptop has a maximum capacity of 100 units, so you will have to empty it regularly because it will not work when it is full.
