It is possible that the majority of Borderlands 3 fans have not liked The Calypsos, but an artistic player seems to have liked the final fight with Troy.
Only overcome by Ava, the young apprentice of Maya, the Borderlands 3 Villanos the Calypso twins are incredibly divisive characters. Still, some players appreciated the two antagonists, and a fan of Borderlands 3 clearly liked what was done with Troy's final meeting.
While there were several things that prevented the Calypso Twins to be up to the legacy of Handsome Jack, one of the most important was Troy's wasted potential. Before the fight of the boss with him, all the letters seemed to be instead so that Tyreen's parasitic brother became the main villain. Troy's growing frustration for the need to depend on her's sister made the idea that he turned against her was understandable and expected. Unfortunately, that does not happen and the story of it ends quite abruptly.
